Chip supports Bluetooth Smart & Low Energy

The BCM20737 Bluetooth Smart (Bluetooth low energy) SoC targets wireless internet connectivity for embedded devices. The IC includes RSA 4000 bit encryption and decryption support for secure data transfer.

The chip supports iBeacon technology that uses Bluetooth LE and geofencing to provide a new level of micro-location awareness and includes native support for A4WP Rezence wireless charging. It includes support for NFC pairing, an ARM Cortex M3 applications processor, a multi-channel A/D converter, an embedded stack with many profiles, a UART, SPI, and 1.2 V operation.
