The EXP-TW-LED-F4W 4-W explosion proof LED traffic wand is weatherproof. The wand is Class 1 and 2, Division 1 and 2 rated and is suitable for directing traffic and signaling within hazardous locations. It features a deep dish reflector that focuses the light from the LED into a round beam. The traffic cone snaps off and on allowing operators to turn this traffic wand into a high output explosion proof flashlight without any special tools.
The traffic wand uses an LED to illuminate a red traffic and produces 90-lm of light, which is almost three times that of a halogen incandescent D-cell flashlight. Power for this light is provided by three AA cell alkaline batteries which give this unit a runtime of 80 hours. The specially designed grip pattern provides secure handling, even in wet, oily and slippery conditions. It has a lifetime of 30,000 hours, compared to the 50 hour average of an incandescent bulb.
