The low-profile rectangular shape of the Synios E4014 enables the light from the LED to be injected into light guides. The mid-power LEDs also have a plastic package and provide a uniform distribution of light. The LED can be integrated in the glass shelving of refrigerators and other white goods, as well as car interior lighting, and strip lighting on the floors of buses and trains.
The LED has a height of 0.57 mm and a footprint of 4 x 1.4 mm making it suitable for low-profile, elongated luminaires. The LED does not have a lens so it can easily be used for injecting light into light guides. The LED provides 41 lm at 100 mA and a CRI of 80. The color temperatures range from 4000 to 5000 K and lasts about 50,000 hours.
