High Q air core inductors handle up to 57 A

The VS Series air core SMT power inductors combine current ratings of up to 57.0 A and excellent Q factors, making them ideal for power filtering and high frequency voltage regulation where magnetic material must be avoided. They come in 10.0 X 10.0, 12.0 X 11.5, and 19.56 X 13.6 mm sizes.

They offer inductance values from 22 to 270 nH. An example part number is the 22 nH ±20% 1212VS-22NME, which has a DCR of 0.55 mΩ max., a current rating of 40.5 A with a 20°C rise, a Q of 200 at 100 MHz, and an SRF of 918 MHz. It comes in the 12.0 X 11.5 package and costs $1.08 ea/900.
