The DC P3700 PCIe 3.0 SSD drives are capable of reading data up to 2.8 Gbytes/s with up to 460 k IOPS using NVM Express (NVMe). They will write data at up to 1.9 Gbytes/s and 175 k IOPS. Capacities range from 400 Mbytes to 2 Gbytes.
These SSDs eliminate much of the latency of SATA interfaces, taking just 20 µs. The P3700 series offers a durability of 10 full-drive writes/day over a five year lifetime. A 400 Gbyte version cost $1207. The somewhat lower write performance P3600 and P3500 versions are $783 and $599 each. All drives use 20 nm MLC flash technology. They are offered in a 2.5-inch (SFF-8639) or add-in card form factor.
