The POE300F series (POE300F-24LD) flyback transformers meet IEEE 802.3at-2009 standards for Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE Plus) applications up to 30 W. The transformers operate at 250 kHz with 36 to 72-V input and provide 1,500-Vrms primary-to-secondary isolation.
The 1.18 x 0.81-in. devices have 3.3 to 24 V output windings and in input inductance of 42.0 µH. Operation temperature is –40° to 125°C, and MTBF is 38 per billion hours per Telcordia SR-332. They cost $2.77 ea/700.
