The Argus series LEDs target automotive headlight applications. They feature double-chip, four-chip, five-chip and six-chip designs. They are based on ceramic substrates featuring high heat dissipation rate up to 170 W/mK, better than those provided by conventional ceramic substrates. A single chip running at 1 A provides up to 1200 lm.
The car LED component is certified to TS16949 and the LEDs are AEC_Q101 certified. With a properly designed heat dissipating mechanism, a single chip provides stable performance even at 1.2 A. The single-chip has passed the 150°C high-temperature test and suits the harsh, extremely hot environment in a headlight assembly.
