Tablet computer can take rough environments

The VIA Viega ruggedized 10.1 inch Android tablet is engineered to survive the rigors of the warehouse, construction site, and the showroom floor. The computer is IP65 rated with protection against spills, rain, and dust and also features shock and vibration protection for drops of up to two meters.

It uses a 1.2 GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 based SoC with 8 to 32 Gbytes of flash and an ARM Mali-400 DP GPU supporting OpenGL ES 2.0 hardware acceleration. The device includes a 2 Mpixel front camera, Micro SD and SIM card slots, USB, HDMI, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC type 1/2/3/4. A 5 Mpixel rear facing camera is optional, as is GPS, and cellular. It uses Android 4.2 OS with enhanced security features. Samples available now.
