The 50th anniversary of the IEEE AUTOTEST Conference occurs September 15 to 18, 2014 in St. Louis, the birthplace of IEEE AUTOTEST, at America’s Center Convention complex.
Representatives from the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force have signed up for this year's event, including U.S. DoD Depots, and major program offices. Representatives from the International customer community will also be in attendance.
The keynote will be presented at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday by Congressman John Shimkus , a member of the House of Representatives from Illinois. Following the keynote, government ATE customers are scheduled to present their views on “ATE in the Age of Sequestration.”
Wednesday morning, the ATE industry will participate in a panel session on “Nondestructive Testing for Aerospace Applications: Needs, Solutions, and Future.”
The seminars offer insights into a wide range of topics including ATE technology and management, instrumentation and software standards, and platform built-in-test / health management.
Some of the papers presented will be theoretical, but most will be practical. There will also be four panel sessions hosted by technical leaders in their field, exploring the following topics:
• Future USN ATS Strategy
• Testability
• Emerging Technology Trends
• Modular Instruments
• ATE and Health Management Standards
The exhibits are open:
Tuesday 10:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wednesday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday 9 a.m. to noon
