Even though summer is not officially over yet, it’s never too soon to consider your heating options as you gear up for winter.
So here’s a question: Is this a painting or is it a heater?
Turns out—it’s both.
Hot Art is customizable energy-efficient far infrared space-heater art that provides spa quality heat from a piece of artwork hanging on the wall.
Hot Art’s Kickstarter campaign has just begun. Its creator, BRZ Brands, a product design and development firm, is looking to raise $100,000 by October to fund the project.
Hot Art allows you to choose from one of the company’s many designs or even customize your painting with your own high-resolution image of your favorite family photo, a picture of your children, or even your own digital art.
You don’t only have to hang the infrared heater on your wall. It’s compatible with the outdoors as well as under a desk to keep you warm while at work.
Hot Art is an energy-efficient method of heating, especially when it’s paired with an energy-neutral source of power like solar or wind. The unit operates at about 600 watts, or roughly 40% of a comparable 1,500-watt traditional space heater.
This type of heating can also save money by only heating the rooms that need it instead of wasting your energy on the rooms nobody will be in.
The far infrared panels used in the artwork last up to 30 years and they are relatively maintenance free. They can be cleaned with just a damp cloth and you won’t have the costs of getting fuel, having units serviced each year, and dealing with the with moving parts that are used in conventional heating systems.
