1 Tbyte SSD takes very little power

The M600 SATA SSD next-generation client-class solid state drive (SSD) offers class-leading power efficiency in 2.5 inch, MSATA and M.2 formats. It handles random reads up to 100,000 IOPS and writes at 88,000 IOPS, and does 560 Mbyte/s sequential reads, 510 Mbyte/s sequential writes.

Average active power is just 150 mW, idle 100 mW, and sleep takes 2 mW. The drive comes in 128, 256, 512 GB, and 1 TB capacities. It has Dynamic Write Acceleration and AES-256-bit hardware encryption, and uses 16 nm process technology NAND flash. The 500 Gbyte M.2 version costs only $381 ea/10.
