Tri-Mag offers 10-year warranty on power supplies

Tri-Mag, LLC, of Visalia, California (Tri-Mag.com), now offers a 10-year warranty on many of its new AC-DC power supplies.

While the industry standard is a 2-year warranty, some companies offer a 5-year warranty.
Tri-Mag is able to provide its customers with a 10-year guarantee against failure due to the manner in which the power supplies are manufactured. 

According to Tri-Mag consultant, Jia-Ming Li, “Tri-Mag uses the very best quality components. Then they use the best topography and PC board layout for the most heat distribution and the least noise generation.”
It sounds simple, but not all manufacturers do that.

“It’s all part of the Tri-Mag quality control process,” Ming explains. “For instance, some manufacturers do not crimp or bend the lead on the soldered side. But Tri-Mag does. Otherwise, it is too easy for the leads to come out during fabrication.”

It seems simple, and takes just a moment. Yet it allows Tri-Mag to guarantee its power supplies twice as long as some, and five times as long as most manufacturers.

“In the long run,” says Curtis President, Steven Powers, “It is far less expensive to do it right the first time than to have to go back and replace a whole power supply because one tiny part came loose during assembly.”
