Re-drive IC handles PCIe 3.0 and SATA3.0

The PI3EQX862 8.0 Gbit/s combo re-driver IC handles PCIe 3.0 and/or SATA 3.0 1-Lane signals. The device provides programmable equaliza­tion and de-emphasis to optimize performance over different physical mediums. 

It supports two 100 Ω differential CML data I/O’s be­tween a protocol ASIC and a switch fabric, or over cable, or to ex­tend the signals across other data pathways. A low-level input signal detection and output squelch function is provided for each channel. The chip uses a single 3.3 V supply and comes in a 2 x 2 mm TQFN18 package.
