Lighting ballast transformers regulate the voltage to start lighting systems and to regulate current for their efficient operation.  The IPI Lighting Ballast Transformer Series from IPI Magnetics, a Datatronics company, provides superior electrical performance for demanding aerospace, industrial and commercial lighting system operating environments.

The IPI Lighting Ballast Transformers feature a flexible, scalable open-frame design suitable for a wide range of cost-effective uses requiring superior electrical performance, high reliability, long-life and a low lifecycle cost.  Special and custom design configurations are available from the IPI Design Center.

The typical IPI Lighting Ballast Series Transformers can be specified for applications from 50 to 2500 VA, 120 to 575V to meet individual customer specifications.  Dimmable designs are available along with mounting brackets and other options.

The IPI Lighting Ballast Transformer Series comes in a standard square open-frame package suitable for mounting.  It can be customized to meet individual application requirements for temperature, humidity and shock to ensure accurate performance and reliable operation.

The Lighting Ballast Transformers are manufactured according to world class standards in IPI’s cellular manufacturing facility, which meets ISO 9001-2008.  IPI provides strict quality control procedures and testing in its own Environmental Test Laboratory to ensure performance and life.

In single piece quantity, the IPI Step/Control Transformers are available beginning at $9.00 each to $300.00 each depending on specific performance features and other customer requirements.  Lead-time is stock to six week.
