APEC races into the home of NASCAR

The Applied Power Electronics (APEC) show is celebrating its 30th anniversary in Charlotte, NC. This is the big show for anyone involved with power electronics, including equipment OEMs, designers of power supplies, manufacturers of components used in power electronics, test engineers, compliance engineers, and people that market or sell power electronics equipment. For the third year in a row, APEC will be mobile. The Plenary session starts on Monday at 1:30 and goes to 5 p.m. It’s immediately followed by a welcome reception that winds up at 8pm. The exposition hours are on Tuesday from noon to 5pm and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There are technical and industry sessions that start at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday that are complemented with rap sessions, and exhibitor seminars. The Wednesday night social event takes place at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, where you can walk around and check out the interactive exhibits and historical artifacts in this multi-level venue.
