The PM150 series of ac/dc switching power supplies are capable of delivering 100 to150 W continuous power with 7.5 cfm forced air cooling or 100 W with convection cooling. The power supplies feature medical BF-rated outputs to comply with the IECC60601-1 requirements. They suit medical applications, but not for life-supporting equipment. The units are certified to IEC /EN /UL /CSA 60950-1 and suitable for data networking, computer and telecommunication applications.
The power supplies are constructed on a printed circuit board measuring 2 x 4 x 1.3 in. Class I/II input designs are rated for 5,000 m, feature single outputs (12 to 48 V) with a 12-Vdc fan output, peak power capability, and remote sense. Resonant topology yields 89% efficiency with a no-load power consumption of <0.5 W.
