MCU enables high-performance graphical UI

The STM32F469/479 microcontrollers features a Cortex-M4 core and a high-performance graphics controller with a Chrom –ART Accelerator that speeds up graphics and real-time processing as well as access to program memories. They enable high-res graphics for intuitive smartphone-like user interfaces.

The MCUs run at 180 MHz and have 1 or 2 Mbytes of flash. The chips also have a MIPI DSI host controller supporting up to 720p/30 Hz resolution and a LCD TFT controller supporting up to XGA resolution. They have three 12-bit A/D converters, two D/As, a camera interface (DCMI), an Ethernet MAC, USB OTG, CAN ports, two PWM timers, and a 96-bit unique ID.
