Rugged BLDC motor withstands harsh conditions

The DII15-60-200A high pressure, high temperature brushless DC motor is provides an ideal solution for severe environment applications, including oil exploration. The 1.44 inch diameter motor has been successfully tested to operate under continuous duty in temperatures up to 205ºC and pressures up to 30,000 psi. The motor body is 5.63 inches long.

 Designed to withstand shock to 1000g's and vibration to 25g's, the motor runs from a 7.7 V supply and provides peak torque of 143.5 oz-inches and continuous stall torque of 34.9 oz-inches. It has a DCR of 0.29 Ω and inductance of 0.93 mH, with a back EMF constant of 0.039 V/Rad/s.
