Crossbar signal switch handles USB 3.1, DP1

The PI3USB30532 6 x 4 differential bi-directional crossbar switch is used to  transfer USB 3.1 and/or DP1.2a signals for a USB Type-C connector. It supports data rates of up to 5.4 Gbits/s and enables switching of USB as well as DisplayPort through the same switch.

AUXHPD channels are also multiplexed to the Type C connector by the IC which offers an insertion loss of 1.2 dB @ 5 Gbits/s and minimal attenuation through the switch. Crosstalk is only 38 dB @ 5 Gbits/s and bit to bit skew is 10 ps for USB and Display Port. Active power is only 1 mW and the IC comes in a 3 x 6 mm TQFN40 package. Available now.
