Analog front-end ICs have PGA, 24-bit A-D

The AD7124-4 and AD7124-8 four and eight channel analog front-end (AFE) devices feature a 24-bit sigma-delta converter and connect directly to all standard industrial signal sources and sensor outputs. They offer three power modes that allow designers to optimize throughput versus noise performance. The modes take supply currents of 255, 355, or 930 µA typical. In power down mode takes only 5 µA.

The chips have a full signal chain with a programmable gain amplifier, a 15 ppm/°C voltage reference, reference buffers, current sources, temperature sensor, excitation sources, and multiple filter options. Output data rates are 1.17 to 2,400 s/s in low power mode and up to 19,200 s/s in high power mode. RMS noise is 20 nV rms at 2.34 Hz at a gain of 128. Operating temperature is -40° to 105°C. Availiable now. From $5.32 ea/1,000.
