Deserializer handles 4 digital camera streams

The MAX9286 quad deserializer targets designs for surround-view systems in advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The gigabit multimedia serial link deserializer chip receives and automatically synchronizes video from up to four cameras. It has a 1 to 4 Lane CSI-2 output at 80 to 1200 Mbits/s/lane.

Each serial link has an embedded control channel operating at 9.6 kbits/s to 1 Mbits/s in UART-to-UART, UART-to-I²C, and I²C-to-I²C mode. The IC has a programmable cable equalizer and programmable error detection and correction. It’s serial input meets ISO 10605 and IEC 61000-4-2 ESD standards. The core supply is 1.7 to 1.9 V and the I/O supply is 1.7 to 3.6 V and it comes is 8 x 8 mm QFND and TQFN 56-pin packages.
