8-channel redriver IC handles 8 Gbitps PCIe

The PI3EQX8908A PCIe 8-channel redriver IC provides programmable linear equalization, output swing, and gain by either pin strapping or an I² C port. The device supports eight 100 Ω differential CML data I/O’s at 2.5/5.0/8.0 Gbits/s.

The chip yields a fully linear transfer function to fully comply with all PCIe 3 link training signals. It has input threshold detection, along with individual input and output activity detection. The TQFN54 packaged IC runs from a 3.3 V supply over -40° to 85°C.
