ThinkGeek is now offering an exclusive piece of handware called the “Tesla Watch” which, based on looks alone, would even capture the curiosity of the renowned EE.
The device is an analog watch and comes with a strap-on key to allow its wearer the ability to re-power the device on the go.
Impressive, sure, but the real conversation starter would be the two faux vacuum tubes that feature red LEDs inside — they can be turned on / off with the flick of a switch.
Batteries come included. That’s plural because an SR626SW button cell powers the minutes/hour, an SR521SW is responsible for seconds, and a CR2032 cell powers the LEDs.
In terms of physical size, the watch face has a 1” diameter and a total face 1.6” diameter; the watch is 2.7” tall if you count the vacuum tubes. The strap is 1.2” wide and fits any wrist measuring between 6” and 8”.
