Sound/vibe analysis system has up to 256 simultaneous channels

The VIBox sound and vibration analysis system can be configured with up to 256 simultaneous (non-multiplexed) channels for analysis of large, complex systems such as airplanes, trucks, and naval vessels. Systems can be configured with up to four of the following three subsystem models: VIBbox-64, VIBbox-48, or VIBbox-32, which provide 64, 48, and 32 channels, respectively. The subsystems are populated with DT9857E high accuracy dynamic signal acquisition modules. All channel data is available at the same time with a throughput rate of 51.2 kHz on each channel.

In its maximum configuration of 256 Integrated-electronic-piezoelectric (IEPE) input channels, the system also provides 128 digital-in/128 digital-out channels,32 stimulus D/A channels, 32 measure counter channels, 16 tachometer channels, and 16 counter/timer channels. The system comes with QuickDAQ with Advanced FFT Analysis software (which acquires and analyzes data, records it to disk, and displays and plots the results), a signal-processing component library for .NET, and the Data Acquisition Omni CD. Prices start at $14,280 for a 32-channel system.
