The VF360 3U OpenVPX COTS single board computer uses the TMS320C667x KeyStone DSP from Texas Instruments with options for 1, 2, 4 or 8 DSP cores running at up to 1.25 GHz. The card has 2 Gbytes of DDR3 memory and boots from on-board flash. It features an FPGA with thirty-six 12 Gbit/s serial transceivers and interfaces for up to 2 Gbytes of dedicated DDR3 and 32 Mbytes of QDRII+ on board memories for algorithms.
The cards connectivity between PCI Express interfaces is through a 22 port PCIe switch and the cards Ethernet Ports are routed to the backplane. The cards FPGA has 36 high-speed serial transceivers that can each sustain rates of 12 Gbits/s. Connectivity between the DSP and the FPGA is either through the PCI Express switch or directly using four lanes of SRIO, Gen2, running at up to 5 Gbits/s. Pricing for VF360 starts at US $12,850.
