The CSI 500-FX and CSI 500F-FXW series industrial-quality dc/ac inverters deliver 500-VA pure sine wave output. The high-frequency PWM inverters employ a design topology and semiconductor technology that simplify the inverter circuitry and enable compact construction on a single PCB at a more competitive price than previous versions of the same output power.
Both inverter series are suitable for heavy-duty applications, including transportation, utilities, telecom, and industrial automation. The CSI 500F-FXW series converts 24-, 36-, 48-, or 125-Vdc to 115-Vac or 230-Vac continuous output. They are cooled by built-in fans and have a 185 x 66 x 358-mm total footprint. The CSI 500-FX series accepts a 125-Vdc (105–145-V range) and delivers 230 Vac at 50 Hz. They are convection-cooled and measure 153 x 66 x 358 mm. Both versions are rated for operation from 0°C to +50°C at full load with no derating required.
