Filtered power entry module integrates to lower BoM

The X3120-A filtered power entry module integrates the company’s double-pole 3120 thermal circuit breaker. The combination offers a C14 IEC appliance inlet module rocker switch with resettable overcurrent protection in one package. It streamlines the number of components in a design and trims installation time by 66%.

Available in current ratings up to 15 A and a voltage rating of 250 Vac, the power entry module provides protection from overloads and short circuits. It has a C14 IEC appliance inlet module (to IEC 60320) and is designed for screw-type mounting. In combination with the thermal circuit breaker, the module targets applications in which the equipment and power cord are packaged separately, including medical, office, laboratory, floor care, and professional audio equipment applications.
