The Embedded Box PC 3000 and 5000 are fanless, ruggedized embedded computer systems using Intel Atom E3825/E3827/E3845 or Core i3/i5/i7 processors. The 9.5 x 7 x 2.5 or 9.5 x 10.5 x 4.5 inch units have SATA and M.2 SSD storage and require 100 or 130 W from a 24 V supply.
The 3000 comes with 4 or 8 Gbytes of DDR3 memory and the 5000 has 4, 8, or 16 Gbytes of DDR4. Also included are dual GbE, USB 3 and 2, RS-232/422/485, Wi-Fi, WLAN+BT-LE, WWAN, and optional mesh networking, CAN, and Bluetooth. They are both built to MIL-STD-810G specs. Available mid-summer 2016, from $1,099 and $1,699.
