The Cortex-A32 is the smallest, lowest power ARMv8-A processor core. The 32-bit IP targets next generation wearable, IoT, and embedded solutions and features 25% higher efficiency than an A7 core.
The core has enhanced floating point and media performance – while taking just 75 mW/core at 1 GHz or less than 4 mW/core at 100 MHz. Each A32 core is just 25 mm2 (in a 28 nm process) and has ARM Trust Zone features with CoreLink Interconnect and System IP, plus 100 new instructions. Processors using this core should be available later in 2016.
