The Si8274A isolated gate driver offers best-in-class noise immunity and latch-up immunity for power supply designs. Target applications are for power supplies for servers and computers, solar power inverters, class D amplifiers, motor controllers, and EV chargers.
The IC provides 2.5 kVRMS withstand voltage per UL1577 and VDE0884 and features low jitter of 200 ps p-p and only 60 ns propagation delay (max). Supply ranges are 2.5 to 5.5 V input and 4.2 to 30 V output. It operates over –40° to 125°C. The chip has a PWM input, dual driver outputs, adjustable dead time, and comes in a 5 x 5 mm LGA-14 or SOIC-16 package. Many variations are available in the Si827x series.
