The LV8714TA dual stepper motor driver features low on resistance power FETs and loss-less current sensing, plus ultra-small micro step operation. The chip operates from a single 4 to 16.5 V supply. It provides synchronous rectification MOSFET switching with constant current control and 125 KHz switching, and has a standby current of only 1 µA.
The TQFP48 packaged chip has quad H-bridges with RDSon upper + lower of only 0.9 Ω and on-chip regulators for logic circuits and power FET biasing. It includes under-voltage, over-current, and over temperature protection. $6.44 ea/100.
