20 VIN , 20 A monolithic synchronous buck converter with differential output sensing

The converter features a 4.5 to 20-V input range. Integrated n-channel MOSFETs can deliver continuous load currents as high as 20 A at output voltages ranging from 0.6 to 5.5 V. The operating frequency is selectable from 250kHz to 770kHz and can be synchronized to an external clock. The device’s total differential output voltage accuracy is ±0.5% over the –40° to 125°C operating junction temperature range. Multiple ICs can connect in parallel for higher current capability. It enhances the signal-to-noise ratio of the current sense signal, enabling the use of a low dc-resistance power inductor to maximize efficiency in high current applications.
