Triple inverter with clamp diodes

The 74HC3G14 and 74HCT3G14 are triple inverters with clamp diodes at the inputs. These devices are designed for astable multivibrators, monostable multivibrators, and pulse shapers for highly noisy environments.

The diodes enable the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VCC. Schmitt trigger inputs transform slowly changing input signals into sharply defined jitter-free output signals.
