Low component count isolated 350 mA 4.2 W LED driver

This design idea describes a low component count, isolated 350 mA, 4.2 W LED Driver using LinkSwitch-II. This design operates in an input voltage ranging from 85 to 265 VAC and delivers an output of 12 V. It features accurate primary-side constant voltage/constant current (CV/CC) controller that eliminates secondary-side control and optocoupler, over-temperature protection, auto-restart output short circuit and open-loop protection, EcoSmart technology, easy compliance to EN55015 and CISPR-22 Class B EMI standards, and Green package.
