Cannon-brand PL Series high-performance plastic interconnects offers a quick, push-pull connect-and-disconnect capability for cable-to-cable and cable-to-board connections in medical and industrial applications. The lightweight units can be sterilized and have an easy-grip design, suiting them for such medical devices as dental and electrosurgery tools, ECG devices, catheters, sensors, respirators, and defibrillators.

The series offers seven color identifiers, pin counts of 2 to 14, and multiple keying options. Connectors are fully compatible with existing push-pull interconnects, can be combined with the manufacturer’s cable assemblies, and are said to be cost-effective in reusable or disposable applications.
