Ultra-Small 1W, 12V-36V Iso power supply for analog prog logic controller modules

TI - TIDA-00237

Analog input and output modules are a standard component in Programmable Logic Controllera (PLC) or Distributed Control Systems (DCS). More channels per module and slimmer modules bring design challenges to the isolated power supply in those modules. Anyone facing those challenges will benefit from TIDA-00237, as the total design foot print is less than 2.54×2.54mm and less than 5mm height. It uses a fly-buck approach which means no optocoupler feedback with wide input voltage range of 12V-36V. The design provides +/-15V and 5V isolated, low noise outputs optimal for driving a data converter or analog front end.

Features

  • Wide input voltage range: 12V to 36V (24VNOM)
  • 3 isolated outputs: 15VISO at 30mA ultra low noise, -15 VISO at 30mA ultra low noise, 5VISO at 40mA
  • ±2.5% output voltage accuracy
  • Ultra low profile
  • IEC 61131-2 Compliant
