The XR18910 sensor interface IC provides an 8:1 differential MUX, an instrumentation amplifier, an offset correction D/A converter, and a voltage reference. The device has eight selectable voltage gains from 2 to 760 with only ±0.5% gain error.
The 10-bit D/A works over a ±560 mV range for each of the eight differential inputs. The chip provides 14-bit signal path linearity and is designed to connect analog sensors to an MCU or FPGA with an A/D converter. Input offset voltage is 3 mV maximum and bias current is 100 pA maximum. The device takes 559 μA maximum supply current over -40° to 85°C. Sleep mode requires only 45 µA. $6.10 ea/1,000.
