Polytron Devices launched the MUI65 series of ac/dc power supplies designed for medical applications. These 65-W power supplies deliver a universal input range, 92% efficiency, and 2 MOPP isolation for patient protection in a 2.00 x 3.00 x 1.16-in. package. The series is available in screw-terminal, chassis-mount, DIN-rail, open- and enclosed-mounting options.
The ac/dc power supplies deliver a low leakage current < 75 µA, 2,000-Vac input to output, and an operating temperature range from –25°C to 80°C. With an operating altitude of 5,000 m, this 65-W series meets UL, CE and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1, EN60601-1, and IEC60601-1 Third Edition safety standards.
