This design example report presents an 11 W TRIAC dimmable high efficiency, power factor corrected, non-isolated buck-boost LED driver employing LYTSwitch™-3 LYT3316D. This design operates in an input voltage ranging from 90 VAC to 132 VAC and delivers an output of 72 V at 155 mA. It features single stage power factor correction, accurate constant LED current (CC) regulation, low cost and low component count for compact PCB solution, and integrated protection features.
