Parker Hannifin Launches SensoNODE Gold, SensoNODE High-Strain Sensors

Aimed at condition-monitoring sensors market, two new products at Sensors Expo 2016 include cloud-based software

Parker Hannifin Corp., targeting the condition-monitoring sensors market, rolled out two new sensors — SensoNODE Gold and SensoNODE High-Strain Sensor — at Sensors Expo 2016. In addition, SCOUT Cloud software makes the solutions cloud-based.

SensoNODE Gold, the latest addition to the SensoNODE family, pushes the limits of monitoring the condition of your assets. As a cloud-based wireless condition monitoring solution, your asset health is readily available anywhere that you have an internet signal. And with the new SCOUT Cloud software downloaded on your mobile device, you can access that information whether you're on the plant floor, aboard a flight, or meeting with clients overseas.

At Sensors Expo 2016, the company also showed its SensoNODE Blue sensors and SCOUT Mobile software — Parker's Bluetooth-powered condition monitoring solution designed for on-site asset condition monitoring and diagnostics.

The SensoNODE High-Strain Sensor features electroactive polymer technology (EAP). Energy-efficient, lightweight, conformable and durable, SensoNODE High-Strain is made with a stretchable polymer that can take accurate measurements and readings while being strained over 100% for millions of cycles.

Applications will include industrial, medical, and wearables
