Smallest 6-W encapsulated dc/dc converter in tiny DIP-16 package from MINMAX

MINMAX is proud to announce the new MDWI06 series of 6-W isolated/regulated dc/dc converters in the smallest 16-pin DIP package measuring only 0.94 x 0.54 x 0.31 in. where space is critical.

The MDWI06 family of high-density dc/dc converters consists of 14 models offering 9- to 36-/18- to 75-VDC input ranges with single- and dual-output models ranging 3.3−24 VDC delivering 6 W of output power in an encapsulated package. All models feature: I/O isolation of 1,500 VDC; high efficiency up to 86%; operating temperature range of −40°C to 90°C (derating above 75°C); fully regulated outputs; no minimum load requirement; low no-load power consumption; shielded metal package; design-in EMI filter meets EN55022 Class A; under-voltage lockout; and overload/short-circuit protection.  All models have been qualified per the CB scheme with safety approvals to UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1 (60950-1) standards. All MINMAX products are Reach-compliant, RoHS-compliant, Hazardous Substance Process Management (IECQ QC 080000) and conflict mineral-free backed by a three-year warranty.
