Fitbit’s Charge HR is a step-counting band with a round-the-clock heart-rate tracker. The device tracks sleep at night, exercise during the day, and active heart-rate levels when resting or working out with the ability to sync to just about every major smartphone and computer available.
At 204.4 mm x 21.3 mm x 12.7 mm, the Fitbit Charge HR is equipped with a 0.7-in OLED, monochrome display screen. It has a STMicroelectronics STM32L151RD ARMBased 32-Bit microcontroller and 512 KB of serial flash memory. Its sensors include two 3-axis accelerometers, a MEMS micro altimeter module, and an optical heart rate sensor.
The device features caller ID, automatic exercise recognition, silent alarms, wireless sync, and is water resistant. It has a 3.7 V Li-Polymer battery that lasts up to five days before requiring a charge. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0. The Fitbit Charge HR comes in black, plum, blue, teal, and tangerine, with the screen matching the color of the band.
