4.3-10 connectors and adapters boast low PIM, coupling torque

Pasternack has released 18 new 4.3-10 connectors and adapters for cable assemblies, feeder cables, radio base stations, distributed antenna systems, and small cells. The connectors and adapters feature a maximum operating frequency of 6 GHz and voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) as low as 1.08:1.

These 4.3-10 connectors and adapters boast low coupling torque and low passive inter-modulation (PIM) performance of –166 dBc typical. Then there is the IP67 rating, which protects connectors and adapters from dust and temporary moisture when mating.

The new 4.3-10 connectors and adapters are produced with silver-plated center contacts and a corrosion-resistant tri-metal finish on the body and outer conductors. Moreover, they are compliant with the IEC 61169-54 interface and offer 30% reduction in footprint when compared to 7/16 DIN connectors.

Dan Birch, product manager at Pasternack, says that low PIM, as well as weather and corrosion resistance, make these connectors and adapters highly suitable for mobile communications systems. Pasternack doesn’t require minimum order quantity for product shipments.
