Powersolve recently released a series of compact, single-output AC/DC converters designed to provide up to 300 W across an operating temperature range from –30°C to 85°C. The seven models in the PSY300 series power supplies are open PCB units with a 3 x 5-in. footprint.
With an input voltage range from 90 to 264 Vac with active PFC, the models in the PSY300 series are available with output voltages from 12 to 54 Vdc with output currents from 3.70 A to 16.67 A convection-cooled and from 5.55 A to 25 A with fan cooling. A 12-V, 0.3-A fan supply comes as a standard feature. With an efficiency as high as 92%, the devices feature a no-load power consumption of 0.25 W without fan with an integral LED power indicator.
Features include short-circuit, overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature protection with remote sense and power-fail signal. The PSY300 series meet all relevant EMI radiated and conducted standards and have a number of safety approvals including CE, CB EN60950-1, and UL/cUL60950-1.
