Gladiator Technologies’ LandMark 005 Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) with high-speed VELOX technology and a SWaP-C design measures .6 cubic inches and offers high-precision performance for control and stabilization applications in rugged environments, including unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). The six-axis IMU comes conditioned, modeled, and user-configurable for easy integration out of the box, including factory calibration over the full temperature range.
The VELOX processing technology minimizes digital phase lag and enables high-speed output data rates (up to 10 kHz) for measurement accuracy and flexibility, said Gladiator. The IMU is comprised of low-noise gyros with an ARW of less than 0.0028°/s/√Hz and low-noise accelerometers with a VRW of less than 0.075 mg/√Hz.
“The Gladiator Technologies advantage starts with our focus on inertial sensor performance,” said Eric Yates, business development manager, in a statement. “Specialized test and calibration routines are performed at the system level to ensure all products meet specifications across time, temperature, and environments.”
