Miniature DC/DC converters deliver 2 W for industrial applications

Flex Power Modules has expanded its line of miniature DC/DC converters for industrial applications with the new PUC-2B series, housed in a compact SIP7 package measuring 19.7 × 7.1 × 11.5 mm. These power devices are available in single- or dual-output options and deliver an output power of up to 2 W with no minimum load required.

The isolated, unregulated DC/DC converter modules offer a high efficiency, typically up to 85% with a 12-V output under full-load conditions. Other features include short-circuit protection and reinforced insulation.

The converters can operate in temperatures ranging from –40°C to 95°C and are suited for harsh industrial environments. The devices offer a mean time between failure (MTBF) rate of 12.9 million hours (Mhrs). They are safety-compliant to EN/UL 62368-1. In addition, Flex Power Modules is an ISO 9001/14001-certified supplier.
