Bourns, Inc. has launched a new series of CANbus common mode chip inductors that can be used in a wide range of high temperature electronics applications. The AEC-Q200 compliant inductors feature a ferrite core with a bifilar-wound construction that provides high impedance over a broad frequency range to suppress unwanted incoming or outgoing EMI signals, said Bourns.
Key features:
- Shielded construction – low radiation
- Bifilar wound
- High temperature
- AEC-Q200 compliant
- RoHS compliant and halogen free
The automotive-grade inductors, housed in a small 4.5 x 3.2 x 3 mm package, are well suited for noise suppression in CANbus, consumer, industrial and other electronics applications.
Designed to meet noise suppression, high temperature operation, and high reliability application requirements in many CANbus-based applications, the SRF4530A series operates over a wide temperature range from –55 to +150 °C. The chip inductors offer an inductance range of 11 – 100 µH and an impedance range of 600 – 7500 Ω.
The SRF4530A series is RoHS compliant. Click here for the datasheet.
Earlier this year, Bourns expanded its shielded power inductor line with 11 new low-resistance, high-saturation-current model series. The shielded construction of the Model SRP0xxx series produces low magnetic radiation, offering good electromagnetic interference (EMI) performance and excellent temperature stability, said Bourns.
