CUI Devices’ Thermal Management Group has expanded its portfolio of DC fans and blowers with the addition of 30 new series and over 500 new SKUs. These models include a range of sleeve-bearing and ball-bearing options as well as the omniCOOL bearing system that is said to provide enhanced longevity and performance compared to traditional fan designs. These cooling devices target a range of applications including IT and telecom, medical devices, and industrial applications.
In addition to being cost-effective, models with a C, CF, BG, or BF suffix offer lead times as low as 12 weeks in comparison with current industry lead times, averaging up to 20 to 40 weeks, said CUI Devices.
The DC fans and centrifugal blowers now offer frame sizes ranging from 25 mm to 120 mm with airflow ratings from 1.17 CFM up to 200 CFM. All models come with auto restart protection as standard, along with additional options for tachometer signal, rotation detector, and PWM control signal. Available with rated voltages of 5-, 12-, 24-, or 48-Vdc, these DC fans offer multiple speed ratings from 1500 up to 23500 RPM and static pressure ratings from 0.04 up to 5.22 in H2O.
The DC fan and blower models are available now with prices starting at $3.87 per unit at 500 pieces through distribution. Lead times range from stock to 12 week. The company also offers custom DC fans or blowers for a variety of forced air cooling requirements.
The company also recently added a new line of BGA heat sinks in a range of sizes and profiles. The HSB family supports a range of sizes from 8.5 × 8.5 mm up to 60 × 60 mm with profiles from 6 mm up to 25 mm.
