meets IEC 1000 needs
Rated at 1,250 VA, the 1251RP series ac power source delivers a sinusoidal
output voltage from 0 to 270 Vrms at frequencies from 16 to 500 Hz. The
supply has power factor correction per IEC 555-2 requirements. With a total
harmonic distortion of 0.5%, the supply can be combined with a single-phase
harmonics analyzer to provide a low-cost test system per IEC 1000-3-2 requirements.
The instrument has front-panel rotary controls to adjust voltage, frequency,
and current limits, and RS-232 and IEEE-488 interfaces for remote control.
Other features include an LCD readout and protection against overcurrent,
overtemperature, overload, and overvoltage. The supply is housed in a rack-mount
chassis measuring 3.5 in. high. ($3,950–4 weeks ARO.)
