Ac-ready LED module speeds, simplifies SSL design
The first in a series of devices designed to accelerate the adoption of solid-state lighting by traditional light-fixture manufacturers and speed LED-based products’ time to market, the LMR4 LED module is based on proven TrueWhite technology LEDs. The module integrates driver electronics, optics, and primary thermal management so it can be easily placed in a 120- or 230-V fixture.
The warm-white (2,700-K) lamp has a CRI of 90 and is designed to last 35,000 hours and deliver 700 lm while consuming just 12 W. A specially designed heat sink for high-heat applications, such as downlights for insulated ceilings, is optionally available.
The 120-V version is UL recognized while the 230-V model complies with multiple international standards. Fixture makers seeking Energy Star qualification will have access to specification and performance data, including LM-80 reports.
